MatchPoint does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Period.
Match settings, live scores, and match history are stored locally on your iPhone and Apple Watch only. This data never leaves your devices and is deleted when you delete the app.
With your permission, MatchPoint starts a workout session on your Apple Watch when a match begins (this is what lets the watch app open automatically) and saves the finished match as a workout to Apple Health, so it counts toward your activity rings. This data is written to and managed entirely by Apple Health on your own devices, under Apple's health data protections. MatchPoint never transmits health data anywhere, and you can decline the permission — every scoring feature still works without it. You can revoke access at any time in the Health app under Sharing > Apps.
Scores sync between your iPhone and your paired Apple Watch directly using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. This communication happens only between your own devices and never passes through external servers.
